HISTORIC REHABILITATION
Special care and expertise must be applied to the rehabilitation of historic structures when encountering antiquated and potentially hazardous building materials and bringing the structure up to current building standards without compromising its integrity. LaRosa has successfully completed projects where either the building was listed on State and/or National Historic Registers, or the project was within a historic district.

Award-Winning Project
The Rockview Phase II Project is located at 300 Wilmot Road, New Haven, CT. The project is the expansion of an existing residential housing development and consists of 78 new apartment units within a total of 32 buildings. Our scope included, not limited to: Excavation, Concrete, Framing, Roofing, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Insulation, Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Doors & Hardware, Windows, Drywall, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Appliances, Residential Casework & Kitchenettes, Window Treatments, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical. The Owner is Glendower Group Inc and the Architect is Kenneth Boroson Architects. This is a HUD prevailing wage project. Funding is from HUD and DOH. In 2022, Rockview Phase II received First Place in the Large Multi-Family Category at the Connecticut Building Congress Project Team Awards.
