LBG has performed multiple renovation projects on the Hartford Hospital Campus, including patient care suites, office renovations, patient care floors, and lounges, while the hospital has been occupied.

The CB 6 (Spine) Unit project included a 20,000 SF renovation of 26 patient rooms, 26 bathrooms, corridors, rehabilitation gymnasium, public bathrooms, lobby, and waiting room. New high-end finishes included flooring, ceilings, wall covering, millwork; ADA upgrades; sprinklers; lighting and doors. Great care was taken to ensure a clean work environment by setting up negative air systems and filtering outgoing air. Containment of the spaces allowed for work to progress while keeping the spine unit active. Work included demolition, asbestos abatement, new walls, ceilings, flooring, mechanical systems, electrical, medical gas, and fire sprinkler systems.
