This project was the design and construction of a new 8,200 SF fire station. Sitework was particularly demanding due to a small, irregular-shaped lot with existing utilities located both below and above the construction site. The facility includes apparatus bays for (4) vehicles with automatic vapor recovery systems and “firehouse” epoxy floor system. Ancillary rooms include full “blood-borne pathogen” and S.C.B.A. room, offices, conference room, dispatch center, “day room,” kitchen, community meeting room, bunks, exercise rooms and showers.
