HISTORIC REHABILITATION
Special care and expertise must be applied to the rehabilitation of historic structures when encountering antiquated and potentially hazardous building materials and bringing the structure up to current building standards without compromising its integrity. LaRosa has successfully completed projects where either the building was listed on State and/or National Historic Registers, or the project was within a historic district.

Plainville Police Station
Plainville, CT
This project was the new construction of a 22,000 SF facility with full basement, exterior masonry steel stud construction and a standing seamed metal roof.
The project included the installation of the complete jail facilities including six cells with state-of-the-art video surveillance technology, full access control, a full-service elevator and 911 emergency services.
