HISTORIC REHABILITATION
Special care and expertise must be applied to the rehabilitation of historic structures when encountering antiquated and potentially hazardous building materials and bringing the structure up to current building standards without compromising its integrity. LaRosa has successfully completed projects where either the building was listed on State and/or National Historic Registers, or the project was within a historic district.

Vernon Public Safety Facility
Vernon, CT
This project was the new construction of a 9,400 SF public safety facility, complete with garage bays for ambulances. There is also a large community/meeting room with full kitchen, emergency communications center, men’s and women’s dormitory areas, and new offices for emergency department management and fire department officials. The facility responds to over 4,000 calls each year. This project was completed under budget which provided a considerable savings for the town.
